The comprehensive history of Tiverton Town Football Club
Adam Carter | |
01/01/1986 | |
A giant striker who was one of the first signings and first casualties of the John Clarkson regime. He arrived at Tiverton from Bodmin Town on the back of three cracking seasons in the South West Peninsula League where he scored more than 150 goals, but was unable to adapt to the pace of Southern League football, and found himself back in more local football after just one unimpressive game for the Yellows, where he was sadly heckled by the home supporters. Carter had the last laugh when he set up both goals as Plymouth Parkway beat Tiverton in the Devon Cup final in May 2014. |
