The news that the blossoming striker pairing of Owen Howe & Andrew Neal will already be striking fear into visiting defences, between them they accounted for all 5 goals, 3 for Neal and 2 for Howe. Tivvy were 2-0 up after 14 minutes, Neal’s first was a header into the top corner from Danny Smiths pinpoint free kick and his second was tapped in from close range after the keeper failed to deal with Jamie Hatch`s long range effort.

The young Exeter side still refused to lie down and just before half time managed to pull level. Their parity lasted barely a minute, Howe this time on the scoresheet after exchanging passes with Neal. Early into the second half Exeter drew level again, a wonderful free kick that left Tivvy keeper Moore grasping at thin air.

A penalty comprehensively despatched by Howe put Tivvy ahead again just after the hour mark and the scoring was completed by Neal after he managed to stab home Luke Aldens cross.
