In light of today's announcement that the Leagues at Step 3 to Step 6 will be ended with immediate effect, the website has been updated with full data to reflect the end of the current football season. While the Southern League have announced that all results will be expunged, in the interests of archiving continuity, we will consider all matches, appearances, goalscorers and suchlike to be maintained in the club's historical record.
We have added an additional graphic to the player profile pages to indicate the chosen player's primary position(s). At present this has only been updated for players who have played during the current season, but over time will be extended to all players where we hold a portrait photo.
In addition, the league table on the Current Season page has been colour-coded to reflect teams currently in the promotion, relegation and playoff places. Thanks to Nigel Thomas's LTrack software for supporting this option.
Back to winning ways, just one defeat in ten games, and Alex Fletcher scores the first Tivvy goal of the game for the third successive match. Two new players added to the database; welcome to Kyle Egan and Billy Craske!
To answer the inevitable question: we have no recollection of a goalkeeper playing outfield in a competitive fixture prior to Lewis Williams at Salisbury. However, the legendary Brian Hancock, who played for the club throughout the 1950s was both a recognised goalkeeper and outfielder who excelled in both positions.
Ryan Beckinsale becomes the 686th player in the database; Poole Town keep winning at Ladysmead; and Tivvy off the top of the table.
The website has been updated with today's results, including the addition to the database of Neal Osborn who becomes the 10th Tivvy goalkeeper to keep a clean sheet on his Southern League debut.

A new page has been added to outline the club's league statistics in a simple and easy to read format. You can access this page via the Miscellaneous menu above, or by clicking on the header of this news feed item.
A major website update was completed. The navigation has been moved to the top of the page, with the menus now responsive in order to increase accessibility.
The TivvyArchive Twitter feed is now present across all pages on the left of the screen, while the club crest in the banner now acts as a home link.
