Before moving to Tiverton in July 2012 Lewis had already played against the Yellows five times. The first four of those were as part of Exeter City’s development squad including the Grecians’ Devon Cup final win of 2009 and their semi-final victory the following year, a game which was decided when Lewis powered home the decisive spot kick as the game went to penalties. Ladysmead continued to be a happy hunting ground when Tasker next turned up with Weymouth and he helped them to a convincing 4-0 victory in what was billed as a winner-takes-all relegation shootout. Lewis has also played on loan with Forest Green Rovers, and is most at home playing in the left back position although he is also capable of filling in on the left side of midfield. His impact for Tiverton was immediate as he won the Man of the Match award on his competitive debut against Abingdon United, but his tenure lasted just one season before he moved to Taunton Town. |
