Power never lived fully up to expectations in a Tiverton shirt, and the obvious talent that he was inadvertantly harnessing was evident once he had moved on as he turned in consistently strong performances for Bath City and Truro City against Tivvy. He had progressed through the ranks at Queens Park Rangers without making a senior appearance before moving to Bristol Rovers and then on to Exeter City, for whom he played almost 200 matches.
