Hugely experienced midfielder who helped steady the ship when he arrived from Exeter City, Buckle had enjoyed an extensive professional career with the likes of Brentford, Torquay United, Colchester United and Aldershot, and also had two spells with Wycombe Wanderes as well as a stint in the COnference with Weymouth. He returned to Exeter for the 2005/06 season and then went into management with Weymouth, Torquay, Bristol Rovers and Luton Town.
