A prolific striker in the Penunsula League, Neal netted regularly for Ivybridge Town and then Plymouth Parkway before making the step up a couple of levels when he moved to Ladysmead in the summer of 2015. Sadly his impressive start at the club never developed beyond its infancy as a change of employment meant he left after just two months at Tivvy, joining Bodmin Town of the South West Peninsula League.
