The comprehensive history of Tiverton Town Football Club
Ed Palmer | |
13/11/1991 | |
A dominant centre-half, Palmer initially joined Tivvy on a one-month loan deal from Torquay United along with Gulls teammate Ashley Yeoman, but due to poor weather he was only able to take part in three matches. He later played against the Yellows for Torquay, Truro City and Weymouth, and after a time abroad returned to the club on a in October 2013 since when he has played in midfield as well as at the back. He was a standout player as Tivvy narrowly missed promotion in 2014, but, as with many of that succesful squad, Palmer moved on at the end of the season. He then proceeded to swap almost like clockwork between Truro and Taunton throughout the next six seasons, highlighting either his loyalty to both or his loyalty to neither. |
