The surname Bastin may sound familiar: Jordan comes from fine stock, as his Great Uncle Cliff was an England international and one-time leading goalcorer for Arsenal. Jordan's career is somewhat more humble, with time spent at Ladysmead amongst the Tivvy Under 18s, followed by a productive spell with cross-town friends Elmore. He weighed in with plenty of goals at Horsdon Park, and joined the Yellows in the summer of 2019. Jordan then set about replicating his form from his spell with the Eagles, and proved more than capable of the step up in levels, weighing in with plenty of goals and assists during his first season at Ladysmead. His form was such that it moved the management to offer him a contract, which was accepted in January 2020. Bastin's first season at the club culminated in him receiving the Supporters' Player of the Year award. |
