Chris Bale | |
30/05/1982 | |
A hard-working attacking midfielder who signed from Merthyr Tydfil in 2005 and played at Tiverton for two seasons, scoring 24 goals. Perhaps Tivvy’s most popular import from the Principality (and without a doubt the most successful export), Bale helped Tiverton lift the Southern League Cup in 2007 before emigrating to New Zealand where he represented Waitakere United in the FIFA World Club Championships in both 2008 and 2009. Played in Australia for Redlands City Devils and then returned to New Zealand, helping Auckland City win the Oceania Champions League in 2013 |
